Maya Angelou was an American Poet, screenwriter, dancer and born in 1928. She is most known for 'I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings' 1969 and has authored and spoken in many formats over her life span.
She once said 'We allow our ignorance to prevail upon us and make us think we can survive alone, alone in patches, alone in groups, alone in races, even alone in genders.'
