Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your best chance to create a positive impact on buyers from a street perspective. The positive and negative features that jump out at buyers form their first opinion of your home and how you keep up your home's regular maintenance.
Knowing this helps us to choose what actions we can take to draw buyers from the street and into your house. If your home's exterior isn't up to par with refreshed paint and bright garden plants it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and elevate your house's final selling price.

Make yourself at home...
Does your home seem to say, "This is Your New Home" to a buyer? Walking-through your home from a buyer's perspective, we'll suggest adjustments that build up Open House appeal.
We'll tell you get rid of pieces that give the appearance of clutter. Table and counter tops should be clutter-free. Brick-a-brack, sentimental items, family photos, and refrigerator drawings should get stored away too. You need to "neutralize" the home so buyers can picture it as their new house.
We know exactly where a room's best features are and how to highlight them. Areas that directly affect your dollars include easy-to-fix items like pieces of furniture that should be rearranged, rooms that need fresh paint, carpet that needs to be steamed, fixtures that need polishing, and windows that need washing
We'll ensure your house is appealing and that it's inviting, staying away from "offensive" or "too-bright" shades on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can consider borrowing furnishings. The goal is for your house to look lived in as opposed to barren.

Setting the Stage
During your Open House, we're doing well if we're engaging the buyer's senses.
Dark living areas can be a real mood killer, so we'll do things like draw back curtains and change light bulbs where needed to welcome the buyer. Together we'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests enjoy your home and assure a delightful fragrance flows room-to-room. We'll make use of cozy-looking throws, and pillows on your chairs and bed. |
